Arran and Sarah from Precision Builders are a young couple and wanted to do something different with their website site to make it stand out from their competitors.
The website needed to:
- showcase the renovation side of their business to differentiate themselves from the crowded new homes sector (however, they still put in tenders for new homes).
- put across that they offer a full service with the renovations – e.g. in a kitchen, they can fix or alter it and then engage all the different tradespeople to get the water going, fix the floors, etc.
- emphasise that Arran is a cabinet-maker by trade so the work is done to the highest standard.
The website is designed to be a ‘destination site’, where Arran and Sarah can tell architects, draftsmen and clients to go to in order to view their work.
We built the site on WordPress so that Sarah can update the site easily herself. We used Typekit for heading fonts to give the site a more designed look and feel, but overall aim was to make the site look elegant and clean, in keeping with Precision Builders’ logo.
