What GreenStuf was looking for.

GreenStuf, a leading provider of insulation solutions, sought to refresh their online presence.

The result was a successful website refresh that significantly improved GreenStuf’s online presence, providing a modern, user-friendly platform that effectively showcases their brand and products.

Our close collaboration with GreenStuf’s team ensured a seamless transition from their detailed Figma concepts to a fully functional website. This partnership, combined with a clear understanding of their brand objectives, was crucial for the project’s success.

  • GreenStuf’s existing website used the Shopify platform which wasn’t an optimal solution for a non-ecommerce website, potentially limiting flexibility and performance, but they were open to discussing alternatives.
  • They had already invested in creating detailed wireframes and design concepts in Figma, and wanted a partner to bring these to life.
  • A structured process was required ensuring accuracy and completeness, including technical planning sessions to align on implementation details and the use of Bugherd for efficient feedback and issue tracking.
Key Challenges.
  • Platform Suitability: Mogul recommended and implemented a migration from Shopify to WordPress to provide greater flexibility and better suit GreenStuf’s non-e-commerce needs.
  • Translating Figma to Responsive: Translating complex Figma designs, with their layered component structure, into a functional and responsive website required a precise and efficient development process.
  • Maintaining Consistency: Ensuring brand consistency across the new website, including typography, colors, and spacing, was crucial, especially when working with pre-existing design assets.
  • Content Migration: Efficiently and accurately migrating a significant amount of content from the old website to the new platform was a key consideration.

  • Brand Guide Creation: Mogul collaborated with GreenStuf to create a comprehensive brand guide in Figma, defining typography, colors, spacing, and other design elements to ensure consistent implementation.
  • Concept & Component Analysis: Mogul carefully reviewed and analysed GreenStuf’s Figma designs, breaking them down into individual components to streamline the build and ensure consistency.
  • Efficient Development: Mogul’s approach of “not reinventing everything for the sake of it and keeping what works” streamlined the development process and ensured efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Bugherd was used to facilitate communication and track feedback, ensuring all issues and questions were addressed promptly and effectively.
