In September, we traded our key boards for latex gloves and joined in on the the nations largest community based environmental event Clean Up Week.
We spent 2 hours scouting the banks of Karamu Stream, Havelock North and filled up 3.5 rubbish bags! This just confirms that every little bit helps to Keep New Zealand Beautiful.
Keep New Zealand Beautiful Clean-Up Week’s central aim is to increase community participation of all kinds, but also addresses issues of sustainability, environment, health, crime and social inclusion. To see how you can get involved in the next event check out the KNZB website.
